Wellness and prevention are an integral part of the service that we provide to our communities. We offer blood pressure screenings, flu clinics, and programs on diabetes management, fall prevention, Caregiver and Grief Support Groups, and a new program called Healthy Chats with Heidi with our Community Nurse Heidi Bettcher. FREE HEALTH CARE
Donor generosity helped provide a total of $239,000 in unreimbursed care to our community.
Our team delivers healthcare in the towns of Danbury, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, New Fairfield, New Milford, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Warren, Washington and Woodbury.
Our volunteers provide companionship, respite for caregivers and hands-on support at our annual fundraising events.
Each year we vaccinate approximately 1600 adults and children. The net profit from this program is reinvested into our community program fund.
Phillips Lifeline invented the medical alert system. We offer several systems and options, including a wireless GPS-based system that can be used without a landline.
