Executive Director

Since 1995, as Executive Director for the NMVNA, Andrea has had the responsibility to plan, staff, direct and implement the affairs of the agency under the direction of the Board. She has implemented many clinical and technological changes throughout the agency, keeping the agency up to date with current health care practices and policy’s while maintaining overall quality of patient care and service.

Linda McDonald, R.N., B.S.N.
Supervisor of Clinical Staff

Linda “Lin” has been with our agency since 2002 as the Clinical supervisor in charge of full-time, part-time and per diem RN’s. She is also the clinical supervisor for our Hospice program. Lin holds a BSN from Syracuse University. She has worked in home care for over 25 years.

Linda Lewis, R.N., B.S.N.
Hospice Director and Supervisor

Linda has been with our agency since 1992. She works in conjunction with the Supervisor of Clinical Services to coordinate Hospice/HOPE case management. Linda develops the Hospice program policies and operating procedures. She supervises and evaluates all assigned Hospice personnel and coordinates the bereavement program.

Kathy Leier, R.N., B.S.N.
Hospice Team Leader

Kathy has been with the agency since 1992 and has a vast experience caring for Hospice/Palliative patients. She always keeps abreast of new developments in Hospice nursing, concepts and philosophy. Kathy also educates the Nurses in hospice computer documentation as well as updates.

Kathy is a vital link between the Hospice Director and coordination of Hospice/Palliative (HOPE) case management. She is a member of the Tumor Board, End of Life Committee and Ethics Committee at NMH, as well as a member of the Statewide Hospice/Palliative Care Committee thru CT Association of Home Care and Hospice. Kathy is also a member of the Hospice/Palliative Care Nursing Organization.

Sue McElroy, R.N.
Certificate Home Care Management, Ancillary Staff Supervisor

Sue has been with our agency since 1995 beginning as a primary care nurse. She is now the supervisor of our rehabilitation therapist, home health aides, and homemakers. Sue is also the Administrative Coordinator and nurse monitor of the agency’s TeleHealth monitoring program. Sue has extensive experience from her many years of nursing at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physical rehabilitation facilities, physician offices and in homecare.

Certificate in Travel Health, Author of Lyme in Rhyme and The Flu and You

With over 30 years of nursing and home health nursing, Geri develops wellness and health programs based on our community needs. Geri manages our Well child clinic, Travel based vaccination program, Immunization program, Blood pressure screenings, cholesterol and diabetic screenings, Depression screenings, Lyme disease education and is a child care consultant. She is also the Public health Nurse for the Town of New Milford. Geri is the author of the well know children’s books, Lyme and Rhyme, The Flu and You and the recent published Vaccines for Maxine.

Quality Assurance Coordinator, Compliance/HIPAA Officer

Cecile has been with our agency since 1992. For the first 9 years she was out in the field treating patients. Cecile is now the agency’s Quality Assurance Coordinator and Compliance/HIPAA Officer, making sure that the agency is in compliance with State, Medicare and CHAP regulations, while being responsible for the management of all quality assurance activities.

Intake Nurse

Mary Sue is a vital link between a referral source and the New Milford VNA with over 26 years of nursing experience with the New Milford VNA. Mary Sue communicates directly with the hospital, rehabilitation facility or physician, coordinating the New Milford VNA’s services to help to make the transition from facility or acute care to home as smooth as possible.
